There is currently a wildfire south of Mt Union,that started today around 10am this morning ,near Palace Station.
Forest Service Hotshot & Engine crews along with resources from local fire agencies are currently managing the incident.
We understand that the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office’s “Code Red” system is down, so our agency will be updating the fire information as soon as it is made available to us and posting it to our website www.groomcreek.org.
Currently Groom Creek is in “Ready” mode only. An evacuation order has NOT been issued for Groom Creek at this time.
