A wild land fire is currently burning approximately 10 miles southeast of Groom Creek. Last reported size is approx. 100 acres and is being managed by the U.S. Forest Service resources on scene of the incident’s origin in Wagoner, AZ.
Groom Creek is currently not being threatened, but Yavapai Sheriff’s Office has issued a “Ready” message for the community of Crown King.
