Prescott National Forest and Groom Creek Fire District will be Rescinding Stage 1 Fire Restrictions on Thursday, August 8 at 8:00 A.M.
These restrictions have been in effect since June 6, 2024 and are being rescinded due to the amount of rain that the area has received over the last few months. Please see the attached flyer for more information from the Forest Service.
If you are wanting to apply or activate a burn permit for RESIDENTIAL use, please always double check the burn permit website @ https://prescottarea.burnpermits.com/ for the most current burn info. This website updates around 8am every morning with the burn status for that day.
